Le Moulin was originally a water mill and is around 300 years old. The house has been separated to provide a large gite and private living quarters for the owners and has been renovated to a high standard whilst being careful to retain its rustic charm. The gite is very spacious and comfortably provides accommodation for 9 people in an unspoiled and secluded but not isolated location. Perfect for idyllic French holidays in the Languedoc Roussillon region of Southern France.
All rooms for the gite are on one level and may be suitable for persons with reduced mobility, please contact us if you wish to discuss this option.
If you need access to the internet there is a wireless router available on the premises which you can connect to on request and as long as your PC has wireless connectivity.

In summary, the accommodation comprises of a sitting room (with single bed settee), 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are en suite with showers, a further family bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities include an automatic washing machine, ironing board and iron.
There are also large gardens in which to roam and a lovely swimming pool with patio area where you can relax. The alfresco eating area is at the entrance to the gite and is a great place to barbecue and relax during the day or in the evenings.
In the sitting room there is a radio/CD player, a DVD player and a video cassette recorder with a small library of DVD's and video cassettes available, but you can also bring your own. We have recently added UK TV and of course there is the previously mentioned wireless hub for free WIFI and connection to the Internet for those that get their entertainment online.
In the country kitchen you will find a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, cooker, a larder fridge and a good range of cooking utensils so that if you choose to you can cater for and prepare your own meals almost as if you were at home.
All bedrooms have single beds so that they can be arranged either as double or twin rooms according to your preference. top
There is a large family bathroom plus 2 en suite shower rooms. The bathroom is where you will find the automatic washing machine tucked away in a cupboard, but with easy access. The primary en suite is a tiled wet room arrangement (not shown) and the 2nd en suite has a shower tray with wash basin and WC.

Linen and towels are provided and beach/pool towels can be hired at €5 each for the period of your stay. A cot and a highchair are available on request.
There is a pool and gardens which provide a tranquil setting in which you can relax. The attractive swimming pool (15 x 6.5 meters) is fenced in accordance with the new French safety regulations. The pool is in the sun for most of the day but there are trees in the garden which can provide dappled shade when you want to avoid direct sunlight. The total area of the immediate site is around 1 acre and is surrounded by sunflower and barley fields depending on the local farmers crop for the year.

During the mid and low seasons we keep our prices as competitive as possible so on the odd occasion when we are requested to provide heating I am afraid we need to make a small charge to cover these costs, please ask if you would like further details for this.
